The Rex begonia vine, Cissus discolor is excellent in a container and can be trained on to a trellis or similar. It has oval heart-shaped leaves that are dark green with frosty silver patterns on the topside, while the underside of the leaves are red. The vine will generally stays to 1 to 3 feet in containers. Prefers partial to full shade and moist but well-drained soil. 

This vine climbs by red tendrils and can grow very fast in hot humid climates. It is an excellent vine for totem poles and hanging baskets. Although the Cissus Discolor is called by its common name begonia, it is not a begonia, but looks similar to a begonia.
